How do I program the buttons on the side of the monitor? What can they be programmed to do?
To Program a Function Button, hold down the button. It will bring up a menu screen with the options.
Use the Joystick to toggle to the function you want and assign by clicking the joystick.
If there is something already assigned to the button, you can see what it is in the upper left corner under the Assign Key and Exit labels.
You can exit by pressing the Back button.
On Specific models, there are Function buttons (F#) that can be pre-programmed to do certain actions when pushed. These include:
OS3 allows for the following:
Multi View Page
Wireless Input/HDMI Input
OS4 Allows for any tool to be assigned to a function button
Function buttons can be assigned to any monitor tool as of firmware v4+
Once a tool is assigned to a function button, it can be edited by opening the toolbar and scrolling to the bottom. The assigned tool must be turned on to be edited, tools that are assigned but currently disabled do not appear in the toolbar.
